1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By using OpenForm, you accept these terms and our privacy policy.
  • If you do not agree to any part, please do not use the platform.

2. Platform Usage

  • Accounts (participant/organiser/institute/superadmin) must be created using accurate information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Misuse, abuse, or fraudulent activity may result in account suspension or legal action.

3. Events & Registrations

  • Event details must be accurate. Organisers are responsible for event management and participant communication.
  • Participants must register with valid information and comply with event rules.
  • Event organisers and institutes are responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

4. Payments & Refunds

  • Paid events require online payment through secure gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe).
  • Refunds, if applicable, are subject to organiser/institute policies. The platform provides technical facilitation only.
  • Card/bank details are not stored on OpenForm servers.

5. Certificates

  • Certificates are issued based on participation and event completion.
  • Forgery or misuse of certificates is prohibited and may result in legal action.

6. User Content & Conduct

  • You must not upload, share, or transmit objectionable, illegal, or infringing content.
  • Abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior is not tolerated.
  • Organisers/institutes are responsible for monitoring their event content and communications.

7. Platform Availability

  • OpenForm strives to maintain high uptime and security, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • Maintenance, upgrades, or external factors may lead to temporary downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • OpenForm is not liable for event cancellations, organiser/institute actions, or participant disputes.
  • Technical errors, outages, or third-party failures are not the responsibility of the platform.
  • Users are responsible for their own actions and compliance with rules.

9. Modification of Terms

  • These terms may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via platform or email.
  • Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of India (or your local jurisdiction if outside India).
  • Any disputes will be subject to the courts of the relevant jurisdiction.
